Chloe de la Crête Bleue

About

"Chloe" was whelped May 5, 2007. She is from David Campbell.  She is a bold, confident dog with lots of drive and confidence. She pointed and held steady on her first wild pheasant during Pheasant Opener at 5 1/2 months old, unfortunately they were hens so she had to wait to "bag" her first bird. A week later she found, pointed and held steady on a covey of Hungarian Partridge in Montana. This time her owners poor shooting deprived her of a bird. November 17th she pointed and held steady on her first rooster. After the shot she was still steady as four more roosters flushed around her. She now has her first two birds in the bag, with many more to come!!

On Sunday March 15th 2009, Chloe went to Iowa and ran in the Iowa Brittany Club's "Walking Open Derby" Stake. Chloe had a very good run, finding a bird and holding steady until the gun shot when she took 3 steps. At the end of the day she bested American Brittany's, a German Shorthair and an English Setter to take home the Blue Ribbon for 1st Place!!
