Mark,
I was so happy I had to show you Elie's first wild bird
point. He found the bird all by himself and the other dog was
helping him out. I still have a smile on my face, he did a great
job. I'm so happy with him. Great dog!!!

Hi Mark:
Donya is simply a tremendous dog. On day 3 she was house broken and going potty
on command when taken out side. She has accidents only when she is not spotted
quick enough standing at the door. Like all youngsters she sometimes gets busy
and waits till the last second to decide it is time. She has mastered the come
command and runs to you when called. Though I have trained some great Labs. None
of them had ever clicked so quickly with the idea Hey if you throw this I will
bring it right back to you. Literally just eight tosses at the end of the hall
way and you could see the light click. She is extremely observant and has to
investigate everything that is going on. Like trying to master key boarding as I
type this.
Growing up, Donya is going to be fun, challenging and rewarding.

Dex is a wonderful puppy, both at home and in the field. And he shows real promise for becoming a good "gun dog". Just after his arrival in Connecticut in early October (at 8 weeks of age), he was sight pointing a grouse wing and - with a little coaxing - retrieving dead quail. I have exposed him to many different terrains, including fields, woods and water. He loves all of them, running alongside my 10 year old French Brittany Beau (from the du Calembour line). He has a nice cast and is bold and confident without being dominant. People have remarked on his good confirmation and handsome roan coloring. He has a stylishness to his gate along with lots of energy and possesses a very biddable nature. In the house, he has slept on my bed practically since the get go. So far, I couldn't be happier with him. He shows every sign of following in father Vern's sizable wake. I can't wait to get him on grouse and woodcock next Fall.
