Reservations

Reservations are excepted with a $200.00 deposit. Reservations are done in chronological order, and you may reserve a puppy based on gender. All puppies will be Microchipped which is included in the price of the puppy. All puppies will be up to date on shots and any
Health Certificate for travel will be included.

Naming

Puppies will be named in accordance with the French naming system. Each year is assigned a letter,  2008 dogs names start with "D" and the kennel name, "L'Etoile du Nord" is appended to the end. E.g. a female whelped in 2008, would have a name such as
 "Daphne de L'Etoile du Nord"

AKC and UKC Registration

The puppies will be dual registered with UKC and AKC. AKC Registration will be restricted for breeding purposes. I will grant unrestricted registration in AKC to dogs who have had their hips certified, either by OFA or PennHip

Guarantee

I guarantee that your puppy will be free from genetic defects for 30 months. This is primarily, but not solely, for Canine Hip Dysplasia (CHP). As a dogs hips can not be certified by OFA until 2 years of age, I want to make sure you have adequate time to do so, should you so desire. If a dog is found to have a genetic defect, upon receipt of a Veterinarian report, to include the Microchip number, I will work with you resolve it to YOUR satisfaction, be that another puppy, or a refund. I will NEVER require your dog be returned to me, as they are now a member of your family, and I have no desire to break up a happy family. In the unlikely event your dog did have a genetic defect, and you chose to keep your dog, which I would certainly hope you do! I would require the dog be neutered or spayed.

Shipping

While it is ideal for you to pick your puppy up in person, that is not always possible. Puppies can be sent from the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. All shipping charges will be your responsibility. Unfortunately with the rising cost of fuel, it will be necessary for me to charge $20.00 for the round trip to the airport and back.
